West Hartford, Conn. Linda McMahon for Senate 2010 today announced that State Representative Bill Hamzy has called upon Connecticut Republicans to unite in support of Republican Senate Nominee Linda McMahon.

“Today, I wholeheartedly endorse Linda McMahon for U.S. Senate. Our party had a spirited convention, where Republican leaders around the state had to choose among several candidates, all with loyal supporters dedicated to their campaigns,” said State Representative Bill Hamzy (R-Bristol, Plymouth). “It’s time for our party to come together and support our nominee.  Linda won the convention, and she is the candidate who can get our economy moving again and defeat Richard Blumenthal in November.”

State Rep. Bill Hamzy was first elected to the state House of Representatives in November 1994. Rep. Hamzy currently serves as Deputy Republican Leader and is a Member on the Banks, Executive and Legislative Nominations, Judiciary, Energy and Technology, and Regulation Review Committees.
