West Hartford, Conn. – Linda McMahon for Senate 2010 today announced Republican Mayor Patricia A. Murphy of New Milford has given her support to Linda’s candidacy for U.S. Senate.
“I support Linda McMahon for U.S. Senate because she understands what it takes to start, grow and maintain a successful business; therefore providing much needed jobs for the people of Connecticut,” said New Milford Mayor Pat Murphy. “Washington could use a taste of the real world and I believe Linda will provide it for us.”
Patricia Murphy was first elected Mayor in 2003 and is currently serving her 4th term, which gives her the longest-running leadership as a Mayor for the Town of New Milford. Since taking office, she has worked hard to re-establish confidence in government, maintain open communications with the community and expand awareness of the town’s natural resources, including farmland and open space.
