Supporting Our Troops This Holiday Season
I’m very happy to hear the President and General Petraeus will send a holiday message to our armed forces on WWE’s “Tribute to the Troops” special on NBC. It is imperative that we show the troops our appreciation as they stand post and safe-guard our freedom during this holiday season.
I’m proud of the tributes my former company has done for our troops for the better part of a decade. For seven years, WWE superstars have traveled to meet and entertain the brave men and women who serve our country. It’s the WWE’s way of thanking the troops for their hard work and daily sacrifice.
You don’t have to go halfway around the world and put on a show to show your support. I came across a website called www.LetsSayThanks.com where you can send personalized postcards to soldiers, free of charge. It’s a fast and free way to brighten their holidays.
I hope the troops take the messages from the President and General Petraeus to heart and know that all of us back home are behind them. Thank you to all who have shown support for our troops and their families.
