One of the reasons I entered this race is because I believe the influence of special interest money has robbed Connecticut of its voice in Washington.
I have made a pledge from day one of my campaign to refuse contributions from special interests. I also will not accept personal donations over $100, which helps to insure the only voice that will influence me in Washington is that of Connecticut voters.
