Fred Biebel, 1927-2009
It’s with great sadness that we share this news with you.
Connecticut Republican Party Chairman Emeritus Fred Biebel has passed away. Fred was a remarkable voice for our party over the past 60 years, and we will miss his guidance and counsel.
Fred helped elect countless Republicans to office, serving in every role from volunteer to campaign manager to co-chairman of the Republican National Committee during Ronald Reagan’s presidency. He also helped train a new generation of conservative leaders.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and children.
