The Days Of Business As Usual Are Over…
The oysters and the clam chowder were tempting, but the real food for thought… The GOP is making a comeback. The 78th annual Cos Cob Republican Clambake was held Sunday. It was a beautiful day to celebrate Greenwich Republicans and meet the other candidates running for US Senate. The clambake was the first official political event I have attended since my announcement last week. It was invigorating. Note this remark in the Greenwich Time….
“In what organizers said was one of the strongest showings in years, more than 200 party supporters gathered at Greenwich Point on Sunday for the 78th Annual Cos Cob Republican Club Clambake.” -By Colin Gustafson/ STAFF WRITER Greenwich Time
The turnout at this event speaks volumes about the intensity of Republicans in our state. It’s exciting and it’s encouraging. I look forward to what we can accomplish together in 2010. We’re going to send a message to Washington that the days of business as usual are over.
